2. Quotes & Pricing
• All quotes are valid for 30 days.
• We base prices on the information available at the time. If anything unexpected appears (for example, hidden damage), we’ll always discuss it with you before carrying on.
• Any changes or extra work will be priced and agreed with you first. No surprises.

3. Deposits & Payments
• A deposit may be required before we start work.
• Invoices should be paid within 7 days unless we agree something different in writing.
• Late payments may result in interest charges as allowed under UK law.

4. What’s Included in the Work
• We’ll carry out all work exactly as agreed in your quote or written specification.
• If we uncover hidden issues (rotting timbers, structural concerns, unsafe wiring, etc.), we’ll stop, speak to you, and agree the next steps before continuing.
• We won’t take on work outside our expertise or anything unsafe.

5. Materials & Guarantees
• Materials remain the property of Paul Miller Construction Limited until fully paid for.
• Manufacturer warranties apply to all materials where supplied.
• Our workmanship comes with a 12-month guarantee unless stated otherwise.
• Guarantees may be affected if:
• Other contractors alter our work
• Recommended maintenance isn’t followed

6. Access & Site Conditions
• Please make sure we have clear and safe access to the area we’re working in.
• We may need space for tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• We kindly ask that pets are secured and the working area is clear before we arrive.

7. Health & Safety
• Your safety and ours is extremely important.
• If conditions are unsafe, we may need to pause work until everything can be made safe.
• Extra safety measures (such as scaffolding or permits) will be confirmed and priced if not already included.

8. Delays
We always aim to complete work on time, but delays may happen due to:
• Severe weather
• Delays with suppliers
• Illness or staffing issues
• Lack of site access
If anything affects the schedule, we’ll keep you updated and arrange a new plan as soon as possible.

• You may cancel work before we start, but deposits may not be refundable if materials have already been ordered.
• We may stop work if health and safety rules are not followed or if our team is placed at risk.

• We take great care on every job. Minor marks or movement can sometimes occur during construction work.
• We’re not responsible for existing defects or hidden issues we couldn’t have known about.

We are fully insured with Public Liability and Employer’s Liability cover. Certificates are available on request.
